Goodworld uses Stripe to process credit cards and ACH transactions. Stripe’s fee is 2.2% + 30 cents on credit cards (AmEx fee is $3.5%). The processing fee for ACH (bank transfers) is .8%.
Donors are encouraged to fully cover these costs when completing their donation, marked by a checkbox that is pre-selected during checkout.
Cheerful adds a platform fee of 2.8% within it’s free version of the platform that is also optionally covered by donors. Cheerful takes 0% of funds raised up to $50,000 for paid subscription plans.
