Goodworld’s Rollover Gifts feature empowers admins to either auto-renew pledges from a different campaign or give donors the option to opt in to renew gifts or pledges from a different campaign. As always, admins can customize the call to action on the pledging screen to clarify campaign specifics.
Source Campaign
When enabling Rollover Gifts, admins are required to select a source campaign to inform the campaign on what information to bring over. Admins will simply type in the name of the campaign from which they want to bring in the gift data in the search bar to set as the source campaign.
Auto-renewals vs opt in
Admins can either enable Rollover Gifts automatically or through an opt-in process. Through auto-renewals, the platform will reference what was previously pledged in a source campaign and attribute those preferences to a newly created campaign and goal.
Alternatively, admins can enable opt-in rollover functionality, which would give pledgers the ability to see their previous gifts from a different campaign, opt into the same preferences, or make adjustments for the new campaign.
Auto-renew recurring donations vs payroll pledges
Auto-renewals require donors to take no action. Admins are simply carrying over a prior gift or gift plan to a new campaign. Auto-renew recurring donations will bring over one-time or recurring donations into a new campaign. Auto-renew payroll pledges will bring over a pledge that an employee has made and apply the same preferences and settings to the new campaign.

Opt-in Rollover
Opt-in Rollovers present donors with the option to renew their gift from a previous campaign and make changes to their pledge if they choose to. They will be able to view their previous pledge and make the choice accordingly.
Renew Only vs Nudge to Increase
Admins can control whether they want to give donors the option of simply renewing their previous pledge or nudging them to increase their gift by a specific amount. Admins can control the language of encouragement along with the percentage increase if they choose to nudge their donors.
What happens if a fund from a prior campaign is no longer active?
