WCAG 2.1 Compliance Statement

Goodworld is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including those with disabilities. We strive to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards, which are internationally recognized best practices for web accessibility.

Our Accessibility Approach

We have designed and developed the Goodworld platform with accessibility as a core consideration, not an afterthought. Our development process incorporates accessibility testing and remediation to ensure that all users can effectively navigate, understand, and interact with our platform.

WCAG 2.1 Principles

Our accessibility efforts are guided by the four foundational principles of WCAG 2.1:

Perceivable: We ensure that information and user interface components are presentable to users in ways they can perceive. This includes providing text alternatives for non-text content, offering captions and transcripts for multimedia, creating content that can be presented in different ways without losing meaning, and ensuring sufficient color contrast for readability.

Operable: We make our interface functionality available to all users through keyboard navigation, providing sufficient time for users to read and interact with content, avoiding content that could cause seizures or physical reactions, and offering clear navigation and wayfinding tools.

Understandable: We design our platform to be predictable and consistent, with clear instructions, input assistance when needed, and error prevention and correction mechanisms. Our content is written in plain language whenever possible.

Robust: We build our platform using standards-compliant code that works reliably across different browsers, assistive technologies, and devices, ensuring maximum compatibility as technologies evolve.

Specific Accessibility Features

Goodworld incorporates numerous accessibility features including keyboard navigation support, screen reader compatibility, semantic HTML markup, ARIA labels where appropriate, sufficient color contrast ratios, resizable text, clear focus indicators, descriptive link text, and form field labels and error messages.

Ongoing Commitment

Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time achievement. We regularly review and test our platform for accessibility issues, incorporate user feedback, update our practices as standards evolve, and train our team on accessibility best practices.

Feedback and Assistance

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of Goodworld. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at [your contact information]. We are committed to addressing accessibility concerns promptly and working toward solutions that benefit all users.

Third-Party Content

While we maintain control over our platform's accessibility, some third-party integrations or embedded content may not be fully within our control. We work with our partners to encourage accessibility compliance across all touchpoints.
