Updating donor payment methods

Easily manage donor payment methods.

Administrators can easily manage a donor’s saved payment methods directly from their Contact profile. This includes adding new cards, removing outdated ones, or updating the donor’s default payment method.

Follow the steps below to update any donor’s payment information.

  1. Navigate to the Contacts Tab

    From your Goodworld admin dashboard, go to Contacts in the main navigation.

  2. Search for the Donor

    Use the search bar to look up the donor by name or email address.

    Click on the donor’s name to open their profile.

  3. Open the Settings Page

    Once on the donor profile, select the Settings tab.

    This page contains their personal information, tags, and payment accounts.

  4. Manage Payment Accounts

    Scroll to the Payment Accounts section.

    Here you can:

    Add a New Payment Method

    1. Click + Add payment method

    2. Enter the required card details

    3. Save the new payment method

    4. (Optional) Set the new card as Default if needed

    Remove an Existing Payment Method

    1. Click the three-dot menu next to the saved card

    2. Select Remove

    3. Confirm the removal
