Dynamic Rules is a powerful new feature that enables admins to create tailored user experiences based on contact and/or fund groups and tags. By leveraging Dynamic Rules, organizations can deliver highly personalized and efficient user journeys, ensuring that participants see options relevant to their roles, attributes, or selected funds. This flexibility improves engagement and optimizes campaign outcomes.
Enabling Dynamic Rules in a Campaign
To enable and configure Dynamic Rules within a campaign, follow these steps:
1. Access the Rules Settings
Navigate to the Settings tab of your campaign.
Click on Rules to access the Dynamic Rules configuration panel.
2. Creating a New Rule

Workplace Giving Use Case
Dynamic Rules streamline workplace giving campaigns by offering personalized experiences for employees, ensuring seamless participation and strategic fund management. Below are key use cases:
Customized Payroll Options
Organizations can tailor payroll options to match employee schedules. For instance:
Employees with 26 pay periods are shown bi-weekly payroll options.
Employees with 24 pay periods see semi-monthly options.
Admins achieve this by setting campaign rules for each group based on payroll tags.
Exclusion of Ineligible Groups
Dynamic Rules help avoid confusion by removing irrelevant options:
Tag 1099 employees as "Contractors."
Create a rule to disable the payroll giving option for these employees.
This ensures only eligible participants see payroll giving options.
Strategic Fund Management
Organizations can enforce pledge minimums to align contributions with campaign goals:
For high-impact funds requiring larger donations, admins can create a rule that sets a minimum pledge amount.
Example: A fund tagged as "Major Projects" requires a $100 minimum donation.
